When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

-Spoilers for House season 3!-
The third season has made apparent to me that the House scriptwriters have no backbone. XD; They seem to want crazy things to happen, but at the same time, realize that if they mess with the tried-and-true cranky-cripple-doctor, medical-mystery formula, they'll turn people off, so we get weird plot twists (i.e. Foreman almost DYING, House getting use of his leg back, House getting charged with drug use) that end up getting forgotten or ending ridiculously anticlimactically (i.e. Foreman's reversed left-right movements going away inexplicably, House suddenly NOT having use of his leg, House being acquitted without much basis). ...THAT SAID, I obviously wouldn't have been able to formulate this opinion if I hadn't seen EVERY SINGLE EPISODE THERE IS TWO TIMES OR MORE and watch every new episode religiously. I AM HOOKED ON HOUSE because it is just the most awesome thing ever. <3333 Uh, right, the art. XD Just doodled in Photoshop. I dunno. It's not SUPPOSED to be a masterpiece. >:[ ...XD EDIT: WOW, I never expected this of all things to get so many views. THANK YOU, House fans, and here's to a hopefully brighter fourth season! |
